Service Desk & IT Support Show unveils guest speakers
1st February 2012 - Author: Chris Taylor
Two of the world's leading authority figures from the IT Service Management (ITSM) industry have been announced as keynote speakers at this year's Service Desk & IT Support Show.
Noel Bruton, from Noel Bruton Consultancy - who is often considered to be one of the most respected voices in IT user support - will be joined by Jennifer Macniven, a service management expert with a wide background in ITSM for the banking sector.
While Bruton's seminar at the UK's biggest "go-to" ITSM and IT support event will concern itself with methodologies for IT user support, Macniven will be discussing how suppliers can pull through the impact of the recession, says ServiceDeskShow.com.
They will join other experts in the ITSM field like ServiceNow's Chris Dancy, who will speak on 'Mobility, Cloud and the Coming Singularity', and Ovum's Richard Edwards, who kicks off the keynote presentations with a piece on social networking.
Taking place at the end of April in London's Earls Court, the show is renowned for its ability to amass the very best speakers from the top of the ITSM industry.
Now celebrating its 18th year, The Service Desk Institute's Sarah Connor says it is the place to go "to see what is new, implement new technology, network with their industry peers and see what personal development options and support there is out there."
Also speaking on Cisionwire.com, event manager Laura Venables adds that the key to the event's success is that there are always new and innovative solutions to the industry's problems on show. She says that this proves that the ITSM sector is one which listens and is adaptable to change.
"It's the largest UK event that focuses on providing real solutions for ITSM professionals looking to improve the way they work and do business," she explained.
