Increasingly, IT organisations are being asked to account in greater detail for their budgets. Frequently, they are being asked "who is consuming what?"  Without some form of cost breakdown / taxonomy of charges in the IT organisation - this question is almost impossible to answer. Once key services are defined, Innovise ESM can help put in place the appropriate framework to define and allocate cost elements to specific services in order to then be able to distribute costs across the user community. Automation can be achieved using tools from our vendor partners however care must be taken to take a phased, incremental value approach.
