ITIL Process Definition

Innovise ESM's Process Migration Methodology (IPMM) provides a structured approach to move an organisation's current IT Processes to a desired or more business aligned state. IPMM consists of pre-built ITIL aligned processes, structured data gathering and workshop techniques underpinned by pre-configured tool sets from our key vendor partners. Our approach covers all of the main process areas including: Incident, Problem, Knowledge, Request, Change, Asset and Configuration, Release and Deployment Management. The result is that realisable benefits are gained through the deployment of a fast-track process solution ensuring requirements from the business stakeholders are understood and implemented within the IT function. The process significantly short-cuts the process definition work stream - process workshops starting with blank white-boards are a thing of the past! The following basic flow diagram shows our approach to moving from the clients 'as is' state to the 'to be'. The 'to be' state is the production of a process description and work activity levels that closely map to the tools and service targets of the organisation.
